Can You See Him

Can you see Him hanging on the tree? Cursed Son of God for you and me, High upon Golgotha’s lonely hill,Our sins led Him, the law to fulfill.

Can you see Him hanging on the tree?

Cursed Son of God for you and me,

High upon Golgotha’s lonely hill,

Our sins led Him, the law to fulfill.

Crowned with thorns, enrobed with saving blood,

Equality with God, a thing not robbed,

Despised, rejected, reviled by men,

Death seemed to be the victor again.

Truly this is God’s only Son,

Sent from heaven to earth, death to o’ercome.

Nailed to a cross, yet was glorified.

Redeeming mankind, our Savior died.

Holy God, be merciful to me.

I see Your Son, hanging on the tree.
